In the examples above, the artist takes on a dual role of painter and poet.  Each digital image is accompanied by a parallel creation through words.  Usually, the image came first and the poem followed in response to it.  But in some cases, the poem inspired a new or revised visual work.  Such was the case with Randomness.  The original arrangement of circles and triangles looked too carefully composed.  That called for a new image with unidentifiable shapes that seemed to be accidentally thrown together.
